Pages 52 and 53 can be found in the Overworld. Enter the Old House and go through the doorway in the back to where you originally found the shield.
Go into the next room where you'll find a door with a pattern in the middle and two sets of stairs on either side. You'll need to copy the pattern on the door with the D-pad to open it. Once you do, go through the door to enter the next room and grab pages 52 and 53 of the manual. The final page and back cover of the instruction manual will require that you have collected at least 10 Secret Fairies before you can unlock it.
Go behind the waterfall next to the entrance to the Dark Tomb in the Overworld. You'll enter a cave that will have a small altar in the center and swirling around it will be the spirits of the fairies you've rescued so far. After collecting the last pages, it will give you a way of opening a series of doors around the Overworld, one of which is directly in front of you. Blink dash off the rock, stand next to the door and press: down, right, up, left, up, right on either the d-pad or arrow keys, and the door will open, revealing pages 44 and From the respawn point in the Overworld, turn around and climb the ladder to the side of the blue path.
Follow the path down the stairs and turn right up the ramp, and you'll be able to blink dash across the lake into what looks like a mouth carved from stone. Inside is a room of complete darkness, with the pages straight ahead.
Go back to the Overworld respawn point, and take the stairs down to the left. Go behind the waterfall and walk around until you can blink dash over to the two skulls on a walkway in the lake.
Blink dash again to the opposite side, and carry on until you can see the pages on a rock in the lake. Blink dash over and collect them. These next two pages can be a lengthy process.
Firstly, go to the beach of the Overworld and travel all the way west where you can blink dash onto a broken walkway, and travel to the West Garden. From here, follow the path by blink dashing until you get to the nearby spawn point. Go south and blink dash onto the stairs next to the pillar so you can activate it by holding A.
